Team NikeFIVE vs Cracker Allstars - 25 JAN 2010

Last night saw Team NikeFIVE take on the extremely competitive and skillfull Cracker Allstars team. The opposition fielded some very impressive players from the previous Henties outfit and other super-league teams.
The game started with a bang, and a somewhat shell-shocked Team NikeFIVE was down by 5 tries within the first 3minutes. The Cracker Allstars started the game at a frantic pace and tore the Team NikeFIVE defence to shreds.

Despite the early set back, Team NikeFIVE came right back into the game with some unbelievable tries that combined pace, skill and flare. However, some soft give-away tries kept the Cracker Allstars just-just ahead of Team NikeFIVE's rejuvenated attack, and at the end it was a bridge just to far to cross. The end score was 12-9, and Steve (the ref) was extremely impressed by the way Team NikeFIVE performed and managed to stay right in touch with the star studded Cracket Allstars outfit.

Congrats to all the players for a truly top performance. There is alot that we will take from this game and last night was a true eye opener to many a team and proved that Team NikeFIVE can compete with the top dogs in the touchies world and that we are a force to be reckoned with!
